Custom Tablecloth Sizes

We can make tablecloths any size and shape you need. You can only order our standard sizes directly from this website. All custom tablecloth sizes will have to be ordered by phone.

To determine the best custom tablecloth sizes for your table, you need to know:

The dimensions of your table, length and width:

The most desired drop:
8″-12″ to lap level
29″-30″ to the floor
Once you have these dimensions, to determine the tablecloth sizes, add the drop twice to each of your tabletop measurements.

For Example:

Table size is 36″ by 60″; desired drop is 12″
12″ (drop size) X 2=24″
Add 36″ + 24″= 60″
Add 60″ + 24″= 84″
Tablecloth Size= 60″ X 84″

Squares and Rectangle Tables

If you want your square or rectangular tablecloth, to drop to the floor, you will need to choose the round the corners option when adding it to your shopping cart. Otherwise, the corners will drag on the floor.

Some people like to put a square tablecloth over a round table. This is a nice look and the square tablecloth size will need to be roughly 8″ to 16″ bigger than the diameter of the table top.

Round Tables

When you are ordering a tablecloth size for your round table, there are two styles you can go with. You can use the same formula as outlined above to determine the size, but you can put a round tablecloth or square tablecloth over it, or both. For a formal look, some customers buy a round tablecloth that drops to the floor, then they will put a square tablecloth over the round one. Sometimes it is referred to as a “Topper”. We would suggest a 4″ to 8″ drop on a standard height table so that the corners of the square tablecloth don’t hang down too far.

Oval Tables

When ordering an oval, our standard oval is shaped like a racetrack. All round tables with leaves inserted in the middle are considered as racetrack ovals and don't require a pattern sent to us, unless it is for a vinyl tablecloth. If your oval is more “egg-shaped” which is an elliptical oval, you will need to send us a template of the tabletop for us to use as a pattern.

Use the images below to determine your table shape. If you need to send us a pattern, just use the instructions below.

There is a one time $75.00 template fee and we keep your pattern on file for up to five years for future orders.

  1. If your table splits down the middle for leaves, line a piece of paper up with the split in the table where the two halves meet and trace one half of the table. If there is no split, the entire table must be traced. You can use left over gift wrap taped together, butchers paper, or anything you can write on for the pattern.

  2. Lightly secure the pattern paper to table using masking tape to prevent sliding or wrinkling. ( Books may also be used to hold paper in place).

  3. Trace the outline of the table with a pencil or marker. you can do it from underneath or carefully on top.

  4. Make sure you write your name, address, and phone number on the paper along with the overall table length ,width, and your desired drop measurements.

Do not cut out the pattern!
